Celebrate Foster Care with "Foster Ware" parties this summer!
Agape is partnering with the Arizona Children's Association to host three "foster ware" parties this summer. Each party will take place in the South Mountain/Laveen area of Phoenix and will feature fried cat fish, greens, lemon cake and lots of fun! Most importantly, we'll be talking with families about how they can support Arizona's most vulerable children by opening their homes through foster care and adoption. You won't want to miss the delicious food or the fun! To find out when and where the next "Foster Ware" Fish Fry is occurring, send us an e-mail!
ABC Initiative
In the tradition of the One Church One Child program that was started in Chicago in the 1980s, Agape's "ABC Initiative" (Arizona's Black Children and Churches) is seeking Phoenix church congregations that are willing to embrace foster children and help them grow up in safe, stable and loving homes, especially children whose ethnicity is overrepresented among those in need foster and adoptive homes. If you would like to know more about how YOUR church can get involved, please contact Leslie Reprogle today!
