From the beginning, Agape stood out as a compassionate organization. From our initial interview, to the classes, followed by the home study and life inspection process, Agape took us by the hand and guided us step by step.

Saturday classes where key to our success allowing both of us to attend. The material presented to us sparked several important conversations between us as a couple and also with our extended family, which support is necessary for our success as parents. These conversations helped us make an educated decision and move forward with licensing.

The training we received at Agape prepared us for the amazing and challenging experience of parenting children who have suffered some type of trauma in their lives. Truly became loss experts; have been able to support our children emotionally. And have developed several long lasting relationships with the children who have been in our home and their parents and even their extended families.
Agape has been wonderful in supporting us when we need them from answering the phone, directing us to the proper resources, giving us advice on parenting and how to navigate through the system. Our family specialist is wonderful. She looks out for us. She is always available for us even if it’s just to listen and let us vent. She comes to meetings, court hearings, home visits, etc. She has taken the time to get to know us and each of the children on a very personal level.

We feel gratitude for all of Agape staff and their dedication to the children and families they support, they truly live up to their beliefs and values. Our experience has been awesome and we feel that Agape plays a big part. We could not do this with out their support and guidance.
