Dream Weavers Closet


Help us make some “Dreams Come True” by donating your new and used clothing, shoes, or accessories to make life a little more bearable for foster/homeless children in need. Your donated items will be distributed at our “Dream Weavers Closet”, with a referral from caseworkers from the Department of Economic Security or School Counselors. Each child, student or young adult (high school age) will be given the opportunity to choose items from our “Closet” to call their own. This is a 501c3 tax-deductible donation organization.  Dream Weavers Closet will be open to families by appointment only. Appointments can be made by calling 623-876-1463. Ask for Betsy.

ABC Initiative 


In the tradition of the One Church One Child program that was started in Chicago in the 1980s, Agape’s “ABC Initiative” (Arizona’s Black Children and Churches) is seeking Phoenix church congregations that are willing to embrace foster children and help them grow up in safe, stable and loving homes, especially children whose ethnicity is overrepresented among those in need foster and adoptive homes.  If you would like to know more about how YOUR church can get involved, please contact Leslie Reprogle today.

Food Ministry Program 


Agape is fortunate to share a facility with River Of Life. With this come several benefits including the opportunity to share in the River’s food ministry program. River of Life has been serving the Phoenix community for over 20 years and is opening its arms to the parents and families of our organization.

Beginning immediately, River of Life will have food boxes available for purchase each Friday afternoon from 12 p.m. till 5:00 p.m. These food boxes are filled with non-perishable name brand foods that are a fraction of the cost in grocery stores. Quantities and items are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The approximate price of a food box will be $20 and price will depend on availability. With the rising cost of food, this is an incredible way to save on your grocery bill.
