Licensing Assistance

Provide kinship caregivers with important information about the pros and cons of becoming licensed to care for the children in their homes.

Shared Parenting Education

Assist kinship caregivers in understanding the shared parenting system and the roles of key stakeholders, including CPS personnel and Guardian Ad Litems.

Mental Health Concerns

Link kin care families to the variety of community supports for mental health care services.  Provide wellness referrals and scholarships to kinship families who are licensed by Agape.

Quality of Life and Life-Safety Supports

Assist licensed kinship caregivers with quality of life materials including beds for children and summer camps.  In addition, provide scholarships to assist kinship licensing applicants with the expenses associated with meeting DES life-safety requirements for the home.
